101 Things About the Craigleith Station Building

For 101 weeks the Craigleith Heritage Depot will post historical stories of the little Craigleith Station. From its inception in the late 1880s to its transformation into a museum, archive, and library. Through photographs, letters, journals, newspaper articles, and paintings join us in discovering how the small train station has changed over the decades to what it is today. Tween Advisory Group

Meditation Workshop Series

A five week meditation course at the Library, free of charge. Week 1: Introduction to meditation and the benefits~decreased anxiety and stress, increased focus, strengthened memory and feelings of confidence and joy. Week 2: Exploring various meditation techniques Week 3: Creating an at home practice Week 4: More techniques to increase resilience, patience and kindness Week 5: Long, deep guided meditation. No experience or equipment needed. We will begin by meditating seated on chairs, and offer option to move to cushions as we progress. Students choice.
